Garland Support currently have two Supported Living properties in Exeter, supporting mainly young adults with a variety of needs.
Our Supported Living homes are very much run as a shared house not Residential Homes. We give our residents space to develop and grow as adults in a safe environment. They have opportunities to learn from their mistakes whilst having the knowledge and comfort that we are always there to support them whenever they need.
We also provide support to people in their own homes.

Jack joined us at the start of our adventure into setting the company up.
When we met Jack he was just about to move out into his own place for the first time.
Our first job was to ensure that this went as smoothly as possible and to support Jack with his independent living skills. We also had to support him to find new and interesting activities based on what he wanted so that he wouldn’t get bored in his new home.
One of our first big achievements was to get Jack enrolled onto a full time course at his local college. This course enabled Jack to spend time with his peers and to provide further assistance with his independent living skills.
A few months in and we now support Jack with College, going swimming, attending a local group where he can make new friends to name a few…
Jack is doing brilliantly at college and is very settled into his new home.
